We all lead increasingly busy lives and sometimes we just need to take some time out for ourselves – and what better way to do that than to do some gentle yoga, stretching our tired muscles and also quieting our busy minds?
These classes are not very physically demanding as we use bolsters and blankets to help ease into some gentle yoga postures, whilst still allowing our bodies to stretch and gain strength and mobility, massaging our internal organs and finding stillness in our minds.
We also concentrate on some breathing exercises and basic mindful meditation, finishing off with the practice of yoga nidra (or yogic sleep).
Join us on the mat, on the middle Sunday of each month for a 1.5 hour relax and restore session. No previous yoga experience necessary.
